Deanna Willard
Deanna Willard is thrilled to be in her first year with the Yale Softball Academy and brings us a great passion and love for teaching and coaching the game and helping players get better. She has been playing ball since she was 5 years old. She started with hardball and then switched to softball in grade 8. She attended Lakeland College in Wisconsin on a basketball scholarship in 2005 and walked on to the softball team there. She transferred back to Everett Community College in Washington for softball only to play in the NWACC and was the starting catcher and captain of her team. Today she plays Senior A ladies fastball for the Delta Sunfire and has coached U14 and U16 A softball over the years. She is currently head coach of the U13A Titans. She is excited to help our catchers with confidence behind the plate and knowledge of the game at the next level.
