• Come out and cheer on the Sr. Boys volleyball team tonight at 8PM as they compete in the EVAA semifinal game.

• For those who helped out with the Remembrance Day assemblies, the lunch we had planned for today will be postponed to next Wednesday, November 20th.   Please check your abbyschools email for more details.

• Team photos for yearbook will be held in the big gym at lunch today. Teams who are having their photos taken should head to the gym promptly, thank you.!
• There will be a hot breakfast Monday morning in the cafeteria put on by Breakfast Club and Feeding Futures.  Students - Come and Enjoy a delicious meal.

Update on Avian Influenza (H5)

A presumptive case of avian influenza has been reported in the Fraser Health region. While this may be concerning, please rest assured that student and staff safety remains our top priority. There are no confirmed cases within our district schools. Fraser Health, BC’s Chief Veterinarian, and the Ministry of Health are monitoring the situation closely and confirm no known exposure in schools.

Preventative Tips:

• Sr. Boys’ volleyball team please return your uniforms to Ms. T.
• There will be wrestling practice today at 2:45
• Cross Country team practice will be in the weight room after school today due to weather
