Ms. Schreyer is the teacher/director of the Softball Academy as well as a Social Studies, Spanish and Physical Health Education Teacher at Yale. She grew up playing ball in Manitoba and received a scholarship in 2003 to attend and pitch for Simon Fraser University where she played for four years winning 4 regional championships and the NAIA national championship in 2005. Jen was named to the region 1 all-star team in 2007 and pitched a perfect game in her senior season. After university Jen spent two summers playing professionally in Europe for the Vienna Wanderers in Austria and in Valencia, Spain for Antorcha. She was named most valuable pitcher of the Spanish League for the 2008 season. Jen brings a wealth of pitching experience and has been working with pitchers in Manitoba, BC and internationally since 2005. She is a NCCP Certified CANPitch pitching instructor. Jen brings experience, knowledge as well as tremendous passion to this program. She considers herself fortunate to work with student athletes and help them pursue sport at the next level if that's what they dream of. Ms. Schreyer loves to see students experience high school from a student athlete perspective and thinks that the academy can build character and life skills in a unique way. Ultimately her goal is to run this program with its motto at the core of the academy "Training Life Champions."
Jen has worked with the academy since 2009.
