  • Did you sign up to be a link crew leader next year? There is a quick but mandatory meeting in Ms. G's room, E107, at lunch on Monday May 26th that goes over important info for next year.
  • Yale graduates don’t forget to nominate your 2025 Valedictorian on Teams today!  You only have until 2:30 today to submit your nominations. The 5 students with the most nominations will be put on a ballot for voting next week.
  • You may be scheduled to write a Graduation Literacy and Numeracy assessment on June 2, 3, or 4th. Lists have been posted on the Conference room wall outside the office. If you don't see your name on the list and think it should be, please see Mrs. Middleton right away.
  • Global Club will be meeting today after school in room B201 for a cooking activity.
  • Any Grade 12 student who has signed up for the UFV advisor visits today at lunch, please go to the new meeting room across from the main office at your designated appointment time.
  • Shout out to the Yale track and field team for an outstanding Eastern Valley Championships.  Joe Thoutenhoofd won top senior male performer of the meet winning the 110 hurdles,  tying for first in the high jump with our own Jack Chabot and placing second to Luke Wight in long jump.    Other second place finishers were Wight in the triple jump, Alex Manuel in the 400 hurdles and Alana Carr in the javelin.  Thoutenhoofd, Wight, Manuel and Zack Stowards placed second in the 4 x 100 relay and third in the 4 x 400 relay with the fastest time by a Yale team in 12 years.  Special shout out to Casiuss Armistead for placing 3 in the racewalk.  Good luck to all the team members going on to the BCs in 2 weeks.
  • Congratulations to all the Musical Theatre students on a fantastic opening night performance of Beauty and the Beast Jr.!

    Tickets are just $5 for Yale students, but they must be purchased at the office today. Get yours before they sell out!

  • Congratulations for the girl’s rugby team on winning the EVAA banner with a 79-14 win over Mouat. Tries were scored by Amber Vallance, Alyvia Binstead, Wendy Huynh, Claudia Vallance, and Alicia Kraft. Summer Rozell added the converts.

    Provincials starts next Wednesday at Exhibition Park where #2 Yale takes on #7 Mount Boucherie.
