Shout out to the Yale track and field team for a great showing at the Eastern Valley Championships this week. In all, 8 athletes have punched their tickets to the BCs in 2 weeks. 3rd place finishers were Nick Tran in the 300 hurdles, and Tom Lee and Alana Carr, both in javelin. Second place finishers include Cassius Armistead in the racewalk, Taevyn Dhoot in javelin, Sosuke Suzuki in the 110meter hurdles and Fiona Zhou in the pole vault. And special shout out to Logan Sutherland for placing 1st in the junior boys pole vault. Well done, team. There'll be a brief but mandatory meeting today at the start of lunch in Mr. Wight's room
