Celebrating Career Opportunities
Justin and Jacob are two grade 12 students at Yale Secondary who have thoroughly enjoyed the Aviation program they took this fall. Both of these young men plan to pursue degrees and careers in engineering but they both plan to attain their private pilot's licenses in the future. They both agreed that this program with its content-heavy curriculum was a great experience before they head off to university next year. Justin and Jacob thought that the instructors were extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The boys felt like they were in University with the lectures and then time to study on their own. Both of them would highly recommend this program to anyone with even the slightest interest in Aviation.

Yale Students in Carpentry
Four of our students, Jonathon, Ian, Makenna, and Ciera recieved their Level 1 in our District's Carpentry program. Giving them a headstart into a trade, or giving them some basics for handyman projects around the home. The hands-on nature of the carpentry program has enhanced their teamwork and communication skills, as they collaborate on projects, sharing ideas and responsibilities. Moreover, by learning the practical application of mathematical concepts in measurements and design, these students have strengthened their mathematical skills in a real-world context. Overall, the carpentry program has not only equipped these students with tangible carpentry skills but has also instilled in them a set of transferable skills that will undoubtedly contribute to their overall academic success and personal development.
