Course planning will continue this week with the Grade 10's and 11's.
The counsellors will be visiting Grade 10 classes in Block B this week so please have your green course planning forms filled in and ready to enter in the MyEd portal.
They will be visiting the Grade 11's in their Block C classes so Grade 11 students should have their purple forms completed and ready to enter this week.
All Grade 9 students should have entered their course selections into the MyEd portal by now so, if you were away last week, please see your counsellor.
If you see any members of the AP Physics class today, offer them a big congratulations! This past Saturday the team competed against 83 other teams from across the province in the 48th annual UBC Physics Olympics. Pitted against the best and brightest students in the province, they participated in six challenging events. For the first time in 25 years, Yale took GOLD in one of these events. This is a huge accomplishment! Way to go team!
Congratulations to the Gr. 9 Boys Basketball team on a great season. They finished with a record of 29-7, winning the Abby PD Tournament and Abby/Mission league. This past weekend they placed 11^th in the province out of 140+ teams. Armaan Hayer and Owen Manning received player of the game awards. Well done team!
Intramural finals today in the gym lakers vs bulls, the next intramural sport will be badminton and sign up will begin on Wednesday
We have our first Whistler Choir and chamber choir rehearsal after school today at 2:30am. Please make sure you arrive on time and come prepared.
The video game club is hosting a Mario Kart Tournament! Compete for the title during the last week before spring break. There are snacks for all participants. Everyone is welcome to sign up in Mr. Muller’s room by the deadline on March 6th.”
