Take Our Kids to Work Day is a national career exploration event that gives Grade 9 students an opportunity to experience the world of work firsthand. Students spend the day with a parent, guardian, family member, or another trusted adult in their workplace, learning about careers, workplace expectations, and the skills needed for success in a variety of fields.
This year's theme, "Different Perspectives, Shared Direction," celebrates the diverse backgrounds, experiences, interests, and aspirations of people who work across Canada.
Who Attends: Students in grade 9 with an opportunity to accompany a caregiver, family member, or family friend to their workplace.

Participating in Take Our Kids to Work Day helps students:
- Explore a variety of career pathways.
- Connect classroom learning to real-world experiences.
- Learn about workplace skills and responsibilities.
